We live in Corsica, Iceland or Paris, are international producers, filmmakers and artists, with a common desire: to produce new, powerful, ambitious, hybrid, poetic and engaged forms of art and cinema.
We think that we live in a moment when it seems crucial, as individuals and as a society, to redefine our relationship to our environment and to nature. And that art and technology can help us reconnect differently.
This is why we join forces in Providences, a production company that we base in a very special, powerful land in the mountains of Corsica, where our projects are getting inspired and nurtured, developed and produced, as the fruits of a new and vast garden. We want there, with a dedicated studio, to create ambitious, innovative films (PROVIDENCES FILMS) and immersive experiences (PROVIDENCES XR) that will travel the whole world. Art projects open to every style and genre, not only related to environmental issues, but united by the same necessity.
With this studio and offices in Paris and Reykjavik, we want to invent a place for creation like no other, open to international projects.
Providences was founded by Antoine Viviani in 2010 in Paris and has since produced two feature films: In Situ (2011) and In Limbo (2015). In 2017, he decides to get Providences to the next level by moving its head office to the wild nature of its mother land, in Corsica, while developing it internationally, and partnering with friends and collaborators P.A. Giraud, Laurence Reymond and Emanuela Righi.
